My life in pandemic

 Dear readers

We have everything around us but are we enjoying it? No,,,,, we cannot we are in such a situation. May God bless each and everyone of us to overcome this situation.

My life in pandemic

I have eyes but cannot watch the beauty of nature,

I have ears but cannot hear the chirping of birds,

I have lips but no one will see my sweet smile

I have nose but cannot smell the fragrance of flowers

I have hands but I need to sanitize it every now and then

I have legs but cannot roam around

I have friends but cannot play with them

I have grandparents but cannot hug them

Then what do I have?

I have a laptop, my entire world is in it...

That is my only priceless possession now

Eagerly waiting for a time to enjoy the God gifted nature as before!!!!

The Bullet Train without Bullets

Dear readers

“A good sense of humor is an escape value for the pressures of life”. This is a humorous story. I tried to create humor in this story but I am not sure whether it is effective. Please read and give feedback..

The bullet train without bullets...

The last compartment was occupied by a  father ,mother, a curious little girl and four men. The girl was continuously asking questions to her father. Papa. Why are the trees moving? Dear trees are not moving we are moving since we are in a bullet train.  Bullet train!!!The  curious girl thought for a while. Since they were in the window seat a gentle breeze was patting them and father  started to doze off. Suddenly there came the second question. Papa the train is running with the help of  bullets? Father somehow wants to get rid of her question so said mmm.. in a sleepy mode.

The girl understood that now she will not get any answer from her father. So she started searching for her next target.

She saw the gentlemen, so moved near them. They were searching for something in their bags. She saw guns in their bags. Uncle....she screamed, Can you please give me one? I want to play with it.

Hey!! little girl go away...don’t disturb us. The girl could not control her anxiety. Then what are you putting in it? Bullets...they yelled. So she felt afraid and thought now it is not safe to be near them. The four gentlemen got up and moved outside.

They came back and used some sign language and started to point the gun at passengers and shouted Give your money, jewelry and all your belongings. Come on quick. We will shoot you.

There was pin drop silence in the train all looked at each other. The little girl's father was searching for her but couldn't find her.

One brave man stood up ...the others were holding their breaths...and their heartbeats could be heard from a long distance. The brave man somehow gained courage and said Ok shoot...

The man who was pointing the gun got angry. You...you are challenging us you deserve the punishment. He pointed at him and he was ready to pull the triggers. All passengers were closing their eyes and ears...here you go...May your soul rest in peace and he pulled the trigger....

But nothing happened. All were  shocked and started looking at each other.

The chief examined the gun and found that there were no bullets. Others also searched their guns in panic but couldn't find any bullets.

Suddenly all the passengers united and defeated them. They tied them in the compartment but the little girl couldn't be found anywhere. Her mother started crying and other passengers consoled her. Father and some of the passengers went in search of her. Suddenly they heard a sound near the pantry. Papa...all looked to their surprise she was safe and sound and was holding a packet. Mother rushed to her and hugged her. Where were you dear??? Mama how can a bullet  train run without bullets. The thieves took all the bullets of our train. I saw it so when they went out I took it and went to give it to the engine driver...

All laughed and now they understood who saved them from real danger......

They handed over the thieves to the police in the next station.

The journey resumed.

Butterfly

Dear readers

Have you ever spent time in watching nature? There are many beautiful elements in nature which will give us a soothing effect, but we are in a hurry always and will never watch God gifted nature My next poem is for nature lovers...

Butterfly

I wish I were a butterfly

To fly high in the sky

Flowers are inviting me

I wish to go to them and see.

What surprise they are offering me?

Oh..Nectar..they are serving me

I filled my tummy

It's so ...yummy

I lift up my delicate wings

I thanked them and sing

How wonderful the life of a butterfly !!!

To float in the sky

I wish to be a part of nature

Because soaring high is my nature.

Me and my Grandfather

Me and my Grandfather

My second post is dedicated to my grandfather who passed away one year before. I am realizing your loss when I write this story. Lots of love to you my appuppa…..

It happened two years before, when I went to my native place. My grandfather was ill and he could not walk. Wheelchair was his only helper. When I saw him, I felt sympathy for him. But my grandmother told me that he didn’t require my sympathy but he needed help from me. His life was in a dark room. One day it was raining heavily outside and my grandfather called me and asked “What is that sound?” I told him that it was raining outside. I asked him “Do you want to see the rain?” He smiled and replied “Rain, flowers and nature all vanished from my life years before.”

I told him that I will take him in the wheelchair to see the rain. He was very excited. I rolled his wheelchair to the corridor and we enjoyed that evening watching nature. Tears rolled down my grandfather’s cheeks. He whole heartedly thanked me for gifting him a beautiful evening. That day I realized this …..

Respect the old when you’re young.

Help the weak when you’re strong

Because one day in our life we’ll be old and weak.

A tribute to teachers

Our First post is dedicated to all our teachers who taught us read and write and helped us to enjoy the taste of knowledge

A Tribute to teachers

Dear teachers, you are the lamp of our life
Whom we admire in every walk of our life
When we grope in darkness you show us a lantern
Thus making our life a pattern
You help us to detect right and wrong
Thus help us to grow strong
You help us to read and write
Thus enable us to face the world without a fright
You are making our life simple
By setting us an example
You teach us with all your efforts
So we are not like a barren desert
Teachers you teach us with a pleasant attitude
And we are sharing our sincere gratitude.
