Dear teachers, you are the lamp of our life
Whom we admire in every walk of our life
When we grope in darkness you show us a lantern
Thus making our life a pattern
You help us to detect right and wrong
Thus help us to grow strong
You help us to read and write
Thus enable us to face the world without a fright
You are making our life simple
By setting us an example
You teach us with all your efforts
So we are not like a barren desert
Teachers you teach us with a pleasant attitude
And we are sharing our sincere gratitude.
